Uruguay Pay TV company Cablevisión is offering decoders for its Flow service, which a short time ago was available only through a mobile app. In addition, the company has reached an agreement with state-run telecom operator Antel so that Antel broadband users may sign up for Flow even if they are not Cablevisión customers.

Multi-platform Flow began to be offered in Uruguay in September 2017, almost one year after it was launched in Argentina (the other country where Cablevisión operates). However, in Argentina App and STB access were launched at the same time.

Antel users may access Flow only via STB. Therefore, the mobile app is a benefit exclusively awarded to Cablevisión customers.

“We are proud to launch this new stage of Cablevisión Flow in Uruguay. Our aim is to focus on customers and to meet their needs; that’s why we endeavor to improve their experience. Now they may enjoy all this content, not only on their mobile devices but also at home,” noted Cablevisión Uruguay Manager Guillermo Valente during the launch event.
